Five moves. Collect and Notice grow the cube; Distinguish, Rotate and Zoom look at it. The UI never names them — the gestures are the moves.
| Move | Phone | Desktop | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rotate | swipe | arrow keys | Pieces travel to their new group (300–420 ms, ease-out). A single piece stands still. |
| Zoom in | tap a piece, pinch out | Ctrl + wheel | Scales from the tapped tile's position. |
| Zoom out | pinch in, back arrow | Esc / Backspace | |
| Back | goes the way you came | same | The back label names the screen you came from. |
OLAP equivalents: slice, dice, pivot, drill down, roll up. OLAP has no name for Collect, Notice or Distinguish.
