the cubes app's yours: every inside at the top, and insides named after their piece

outcomes: seenapps: cubes, mosaicbroken principles: 3, 16, 22, 28, 29

seen: 2026-10-30, cubes, yours and apps › mosaic, after several sessions wrote the app cubes (cube design, anlat, cubes, apps) into notion on the same day. selim: "there is a chaos going on there, and there are duplicates and they are not placed properly." studied in the claude doc the chaos in my cubes.

picture: yours on a wide screen (19 cubes, of which 3 stand on their own; the app was built locally and fed the notion rows), apps › mosaic on a phone.

breaks: 3 (sameness first: two "features", three "words" side by side with nothing saying why), 16 (every piece has the same shape: each app's inside has a name only that app can have, so its siblings show the others' insides as missing), 22 and 29 (cube design's own cube: capitals, faces named "About", "How settled", "First seen in"), 28 (the seed cubes say "the planets you know").

why it feels wrong: yours lists every private cube, as the library lists every public one ("one web"). that works for a few small cubes; once cubes nest, every inside also sits on the first face, so one cube is in two places and its name loses its meaning (which "features"?). one level down, an inside named after its piece ("anlat", "features") turns decision 14 against itself: mosaic shows "cubes, anlat, Cube Design · not known yet", as if mosaic should hold an anlat. the app cube's pieces are drawers of different kinds, a folder tree in a cube's clothes. and each session placed its cube by its own rules without opening yours, so nobody saw the whole.

how it could follow: yours shows only the cubes that stand on their own, the insides reached by zooming in (and from afar by turning yours to where each lives). an inside takes a name every sibling can share ("parts" for an app, "what is in it" for a drawer), so an empty one reads as not opened yet. cube design's cube is written small with plural faces (subjects, stages, birthplaces). beyond fixing: cubes notices what is alike (two cubes with one name, two faces with one question) and offers them side by side, never merging by itself; five such features are asked in the cubes app's own cube.
